On Sunday 20th June 2004 I was back at the Town Hall in Cheltenham with my friend Dave Smith to see a band going under the name of "THE CLASS OF 64" which featured former members of THE TREMELOES, THE KINKS, THE HOLLIES, and THE ANIMALS.

The actual members of the class at the time were:-

• CHIP HAWKES = The Tremeloes - (Guitar / Vocals)
• MICK AVORY = The Kinks - (Drums)
• ERIC HAYDOCK = The Hollies - (Bass Guitar)
• PETE BARTON = The Animals - (Vocals)
• JOHN STEEL = The Animals - (Keyboards)

Throughout the evening we were treated to renditions of songs made famous by the respective bands. Also throughout the evening there were lots of funny stories of what they had been up to in the years since they had split from the original bands. The stories about MICK AVORY performing "Puppetry Of The Penis" I thought were a bit KINKY but then again he was in the Kinks.
